Anette M Karlsson

Dr. Karlsson is the Dean of the Fenn College of Engineering and Professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department. Before coming to CSU Dr. Karlsson was the Chairperson of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Delaware where she was a member of the faculty since 2002. She received a Ph.D. in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Rutgers University in 1999 within the area of Solid Mechanics and conducted postdoctoral research at Princeton University.
Dr. Karlsson has a distinguished record of research and publications in leading journals. She is a Fellow of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and is an active member in ASME's Aerospace Division, the Materials Division and in the Department Heads Forum. Dr. Karlsson received the ONR Young Investigator Award in 2004 and the Francis Alison Young Scholars Award in 2005.
