About

Professor Jackson-McCabe joined the department in January, 2008 as Chairperson and Associate Professor, having taught previously at Niagara University (2000-07), DePaul University (1999-2000), and Case Western Reserve University (1998-99). Broadly interested in the comparative study of religion, he specializes in the ancient Mediterranean world and early Judaism and early Christianity in particular. He has published a variety of works in these areas, including the books Logos and Law in the Letter of James (Brill, 2001) and Jewish Christianity Reconsidered (ed.; Fortress, 2007).
