Oya I. Tukel

Dr. Oya Tukel is the Associate Dean of Undergraduate Programs and Director of Student Engagement and Success. A recognized scholar and expert in Operations and Supply Chain Management, Dr. Tukel ensures that students have access to resources and support as well as opportunities for engagement outside the classroom. As former Chair of the Operations & Supply Chain Management Department, Dr. Tukel led her department in creating opportunities for student internships, co-ops and employment and has brought her skills in working with the Northeast Ohio community to her college-wide role.

Dr. Tukel has taught at the doctoral, graduate and undergraduate levels and has received honors for her teaching excellence throughout her career including, most recently the Cleveland State University Alumni Association's Golden Apple Award (2014), the Innovative Programming Award from GoAbroad for Follow the Smartphone Trail (a study abroad program in 2014), America's Super Professor by Faculty Row (2014) and finalist as Best Advisor for the EXPYs Internship program (2013). She was most recently received Fulbright Specialist honors.
