About

Peter Poznanski, Ph.D., CFM, CMA, CPA (Il, inactive) has been a faculty member in the Department of Accounting since 1991. He received his Ph.D. from Texas Tech University. He teaches financial and managerial/cost accounting at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. His research areas of interest are behavioral accounting, accounting education, and financial accounting. He has published in journals such as Behavioral Research in Accounting, The Journal of Accountancy, Management Accounting, The Journal of Accounting Education, Intelligence, Personality and Individual Differences, and The Journal of Accounting and Finance Research. He has won teaching awards from the University, College of Business, and Beta Alpha Psi and the Accounting Association at Cleveland State University. Dr. Poznanski serves on editorial boards, professional and community service organizations, and the boards for not-for profit organizations.
