Petru S. Fodor

Professor and Chair of Physics

Personal profile

About

Dr. Fodor's research interests are in applied physics with projects ranging from the use of self-assembly methods for the fabrication of metal – semiconductor heterostructures and magnetic arrays, to the design and characterization of microfluidic components. His research group projects have been funded by the National Science Foundation and the Research Corporation for Science Advancement. Dr. Fodor's interests in applied physics extend to his classes, where he has developed courses in optoelectronics, applied solid state physics, electronics, image processing, computational physics, and energy and environmental physics. He currently serves as Chair of the Physics Department at Cleveland State University (CSU). At CSU he also directs the high resolution electron microscopy imaging facility
