Complying with RLUIPA

    Abstract

    The article offers tips for local governments on how to comply with the Religious Land Use and Institutionalized Persons Act (RLUIPA) in the U.S. It offers overview of the sanctions when local governments were found to have violated the regulation as well as its corresponding fines. It also mentions the requirements of the regulation and provides tips on how local governments can effectively comply with the RLUIPA.
