Abstract
Do you find yourself repeating the same information again and again to different library patrons? Maybe you explain how to search the library's catalog, how to use a particular database, or how to find Ohio court cases on the Internet over, and over....and over again. To save yourself time (and money!), you may want to create a series of screen capture tutorials that patrons can watch online. Screen capture tutorials show webpage or PowerPoint navigation in a YouTube-like format, complete with voiceover narration. This session will cover several types of screen capture software, with some time spent on Camtasia (fee-based software), and demonstrate the basics of making and editing a screen capture tutorial.
