    Abstract

This article will consider whether nurses who participate in situations at school where students are requested to remove their clothing to the point where their genitals are exposed have engaged in an impermissible search. The recent Sixth Circuit decision, Hearring v. Sliwowski , will be reviewed in light of the U.S. Supreme Court's recent strip search case, Safford Unified School District v. Redding .
