The CDC Model of Urban Development

    Abstract

    Presents a reply to a paper by Randy Stoecker concerning community development corporations (CDCs). Stoecker's view is that the CDCs are a failure and that an alternative should be put in place. In contrast, the author believes that CDCs are an important and innovative means to community development.
