Discusses the primacy of need for social work practice theory, for social policy analysis and advocacy, and finally for the theory that can lead to liberatory praxis. We will be discussing the centrality of human needs of our clients and communities and the necessity that our theories of practice and social transformation also address human needs in a forthright manner.
