    Abstract

    Focuses on the militant opponents of the Ku Klux Klan. Tactics adopted by the Klan's opponents include the campaign for the passage of anti-Klan ordinances and statutes, publication of Klan members' names and attacks of Klan gatherings; Social segments opposed to the Klan include the African-Americans, Catholics, Jewish leaders and branches of the American Legion.
